Sir Chris Powell, Chairman
Chris is a founder of the advertising agency BMP DDB and went on to become its chief executive and then Chairman. He was knighted for his services to the advertising industry.
His current and recent commercial Board roles include: the Advisory Board of PWC, Chairman of the Advertising Standards Board of Finance and of Dr Foster, UBM and Portland PR.
Outside commerce he has been the Chair of NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts), the think tank IPPR, the British Council’s Creative Industries Advisory Panel and Riverside Studios.

Dr John Taylor, CEO
John Taylor thought up the idea for Instant Gift Messaging in 2006 with his business partner. The inspiration came from the desire to bring the power of virtual alerts and communication to bear on real products and gifts.
Before entering the world of gifting and communication, John was a technology strategy consultant and a Director at the UK’s leading Think Tank. He has a Masters in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, as well as a Doctorate from Oxford University.

Dr Richard Tolcher, CTO
Richard has a Doctorate from Oxford University in the Design of Computer Systems to support Highly Collaborative Working Environments, has an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, and a first degree in Computer Science.
He has 15 years in industry including at Airbus and the MoD with commercial expertise in complex systems requirements and design, eCommerce, mobile telecommunications, and technical project management.

Bruce Garvey
Bruce is a Non-Executive Director of ParcelGenie. He is a linguist with a broad range of experience in international operations, and is Co-Chair of Cass Entrepreneur Network (CEN). Bruce has an MBA from Cass Business School and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
Following an earlier career in a major multinational, Bruce worked for a series of SMEs. These included start-ups and family owned businesses. He has experienced business operations across a wide spectrum of organisations, in terms of size, structure, and location, and has held multiple director roles.
